Operates mostly in Brazoria, Fort Bend & Liberty Counties
Any of the above companies are good and can pump your system, if they operate in your area. These companies are aware that we have certain criteria regarding pumping our customers’ septic tanks, so when you call for them, please tell them you are a customer of Aerobic Septic Service Company. Someone will need to be at home to pay the pumping company if you do not make prior arrangements with them, such as leaving a check in your control box or pre-paying by credit card.
The pumping company may have a surcharge for digging up the lid for your trash tank if it is not visible. The trash tank is the tank closest to your house, before the aeration tank and the effluent tank.
If there is electricity to your system, you will need to turn it off at the breakers in the outside control box before the system is pumped. Fill the aeration tank with water from a garden hose before the electricity is turned back on at the breaker. If you turn the breakers on before the aeration tank is filled with water, there is a chance the air compressor (or aerator) will break. The pumping company representative can show you which tank is the aeration tank, if you don’t already know. When you see the water begin to spill into the effluent (pump-out) tank, you can be sure the aeration tank is full. Do not fill the tanks up from running water inside your house – if you do, you use much more water than you need to because you have to fill up the pre-treatment (trash) tank before water can begin to fill the aeration tank.
AFTER THE AERATION TANK IS FILLED WITH WATER, BE SURE AND TURN THE BREAKER BACK ON.
